Flatulence and Water Skiing

I just sent two students, ages 18 and 20 (that's right: 20!) to the office for farting in my class. Now before you accuse me of being a hard case, let's put this in perspective: I grew up with 2 brothers and some boy cousins. I am no stranger to flatulence and I often see it as humurous, much to my husband's chagrin. I also realize that sometimes you just can't help it.

This was not one of those times.

Everyday for the past month these boys have taken turns farting in my class and then blame it on the other. Funny the first time, frustrating the 10th, and maddening on the 100th. They pushed me over the edge today and I hope they get some serious ISS (in school suspension) time for behaving like they are 13 when they are seniors in high school.

The 20 year old also got caught water skiing in the parking lot today. It's been raining and I guess he thought it would be the wisest choice to hang on to his buddies tailgate while he did donuts in the school parking lot.

Yeah, I've got all the winners in my class. Every last one of them.

yaa....its from PUKAR.....Moreover there is a beautiful song in this movie which is no where discussed our forum so far......

The song is "Kismat Se". ARR is not performing this song in any of his concerts. I have been expecting this song from LA Concert itself. Whenever we get a chance to meet ARR we will ask about this.

Rahmaniacs, don't miss this song in Pukar. Its an awesome composition.

so, what can i say about it...

only thinking about it makes me want to cry. because of all the lovely people i met there, because of all the fun we had, because of all the fights we had, because of all the frustration and anger, because of all the pleasure of doing what we do.

i'm not entirely sure if the prizes we received (or lack thereof) were close to being fair, and i don't really care. all i care about is the unforgettable experience, the appreciation of people i've never known before and that didn't know me.

i've learnt a lot.

thank you lore, dani, cedric, calin, alex, ilinca, ioana and brainstorming for being amazing!

so what did we actually win?

The History Channel to organise quiz challenge 'Bollywood Rap'

MUMBAI: The History Channel (THC) has announced that the show Bollywood Bosses will return for a new season।

The show starts on 2 May and will air every Friday night at 8 pm till 4 July. The 10-week series takes a look at the careers of some of the biggest directors who have redefined the Hindi film industry.

The show will offer trivia like the fact that Amjad Khan was almost dropped from the blockbuster hit Sholay as the scriptwriter Javed Akhtar found his voice weak for Gabbar Singh’s role. The promos of Rakesh Roshan’s Koyla were designed and executed by Hrithik Roshan, who was assisting his dad in the film.

This time around to make the show more interactive THC is organising an on-ground quiz challenge Bollywood Rap. Aimed to test the knowledge of the participants around Hindi cinema, these quizzes will be organized in Delhi and Mumbai wherein viewers will compete as two member teams. Participants can log on to historychannelindia.com to register for the contest.

THC has also planned an on-air initiative as part of the series. Interstitials featuring exciting trivia on the biggest blockbusters ever made will be aired during the programme on the channel. A poll has also been developed wherein viewers can vote for their favourite actor, actress, villain etc by sending a SMS ‘BR’ to 57827 or by logging in on www.historychannelindia.com/bollywoodrap. More information on this poll can be found on the channel’s website. This contest will be promoted heavily on the channel and also through on-ground activity across media agencies.

THC senior VP, content and communications Rajesh Sheshadri says, “Bollywood Bosses is a great example of the kind of entertaining programming that The History Channel offers its viewers.

“Bollywood Bosses provides an unprecedented access to not just the directors in profile, but virtually every top star & technician who counts in today's Bollywood industry। The presentation of the programme brings these directors’ struggles and accomplishments to life making history entertaining and more relevant for the viewers”.
